Happy Birthday to “Van the Man” Morrison!

Sir George Ivan Morrison, born on August 31, 1945, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is an extraordinary songwriter and singer who has sold millions of records worldwide. Morrison is skilled at various musical instruments like guitar, harmonica, saxophone, keyboard, drums, tambourine, and ukulele. He gave us the iconic “Gloria” in 1964, “Brown Eyed Girl” in 1967, the album “Moondance” in 1970, and much more. He is a truly brilliant and fascinating man!

A few of my favorite albums are "Common One (1980)," "No Guru, No Method, No Teacher (1986)," "Back On Top (1999)," "Beautiful Vision (1982)," "Van & The Chieftains - Irish Heartbeat (1988)," "What's It Gonna Take? (2022)," "Movin On Skiffle (2023)," and the list goes on and on, (EVERY ALBUM IS A WINNER)! His latest album "Remembering Now" was released on June 13, 2025, and it's fantastic!
